Description: Fijian Mahogany is a non-endangered timber, grown in sustainable plantations on the tropical islands of Fiji. It has a straight grain and is usually free of voids and pockets. The reddish-brown color, which darkens over time, has a beautiful reddish sheen when polished. Mahogany wood is durable and is resistant to termites, moisture, and changes in temperature.

Products Available: logs are acquired under a certified chain of custody, and for that a Certificate of Legality is available. Decking and other products milled to customer specifications are then produced.

Applications: Fijian Mahogany is well suited for specialty products such as fine furniture, decorative molding, musical instruments, plywood, decking and flooring.

Description: Monkeypod is called by many different names in many different cultures, and its lumber is likewise used for a number of different purposes, ranging from construction purposes to fine furniture.

Colour tends to be a golden to dark brown, sometimes with darker streaks. Sapwood is usually thin and yellow/white, clearly demarcated from the heartwood. Monkeypod is sometimes seen with highly figured curly or wild grain patterns.

Fiji Monkeypod is rated as durable to very durable regarding decay resistance, Monkeypod is also resistant to most insect attacks.

Products Available: Large-sized boardroom table tops, sawn timber, and other products milled to customer specifications are then produced.

Applications: Millwork/trim, carving, cabinetry, furniture, musical instruments (guitars and ukuleles), and other small specialty wood items.
